Do it like a friend who was an alcoholic did: Today I won't get drunk--I will tomorrow. He finally sobered up for good. Just say that today you won't buy any fabric--you will tomorrow.

When I feel that way, I go shopping in my stash. If I just cannot stay away from my LQS, I'll go look and usually don't find anything I cannot resist. It helps if I can just "feel" the fabrics...I don't necessarily have to buy.

Know what you are feeling. I have found that if I play with my fabric it usually is enough to cure me....at least for that day!

You could take some of your stash and put it on the bed and lay on it and throw some up in the air. Sorry that's what you do when you win lots of cash. Ok then pretend it's cash and then go buy more stash. Sorry, still I'm no help. Just a little crazy & dreaming for myself of winning some cash or stash. My wish for you is more will power if that is what you really want. You can do it

Shopping the stash not only calms that obsessive feeling that you have to buy, but in the process you see what you have and may have forgotten. You may even find another project lurking in there waiting for you to find it.

It is called stashfever there is also pattern fever, and thread fever. These diseases are terminal and highly contagious in LQS. There is no known vacine.

Ok I can get through this. I can do it. If I keep telling myself that I just might believe it. NOT!!
I'm in the same boat, so I really feel your pain.

    O.K. What to do:

    1. go to online fabric store
    2. pick focus fabric
    3. find coordinates
    4. empty shopping cart and go to bed
    5. wake with a clear conscience
