    Most quilt shops have a space where you can baste your quilt on the table.

    Next time tape your backing to the table with painters tape and baste your quilt from the centre out. It also helps to starch your backing.

    all great ideas, have you considered having a longarmer baste your quilt for you? I know people who do this and avoid the stress of pins, wrinkles, etc. Happy Quilting

    Our senior center lets us use their tables to sandwich out quilts together. It makes it so much easier.
