I'm taking a multicultural course right now and find this discussion very interesting because of the different cultures between states. I can see that it is much more than minority or immigrant status that creates a sense of culture. I can also appreciate how impossible it is to define someone by their culture.

hey back a few years ago when I moved from Newfoundland, Canada, to Ontario Canada a person ask me what it was liked to be from another country, I said en.... are you kidding me?

I'm from NJ.. get it all the time. Look at shows like Law&Order (I do love the show) that pokes fun at it.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I know better.

I lived in Colorado for a while...and we have to wear winter clothes all year long don't ya know lol

I live in Tennessee now where we're all hillbillies haha... I absolutely love it here! :) It's my favorite place that I've ever lived in :)

This is sooo funny because I grew up in Ohio & WV was the 'joke'. Never could figure out why since so many people were orginally from WV. Small minds always need someone to look down on.

I'm originally from Iowa. Someone asked me what it was like to live without electricity. I don't know. I've never lived without electricity. We even had running water!!!
