I'll pass on it. I love my magnetic pin holder. When I need to pick up the pins I just turn it upside down and all the pins jump back on....and it didn't cost $30 or $60.

(the pintastic, a pin dispenser)

This would be something I could use.. (makes note on Christmas list)... I am always poking my fingers when trying to grab a pin. I don't use the pin cushion I made...it sucks.

Do you have favorite gadgets you like to use?

YOu could also go to a auto parts store and buy a magnetic dish to put your pins in. I have several of them and they are very inexpensive.
Why would an auto parts store have a magnetic pin holder? What do they call it? Mechanically challenged, as well.

So I get stabbed by a pin now and then. I survive, so long as I don't get blood on anything I'm Okay. I saw this pin thing, I too think it to costly & space consuming. I don't use a pin cushion either. I have my pin laying flat in a plastic case & I get pricked rarely. I rather have another bobbin winder. I recently tried two (one after the other) same kind, bother from Hancock and neither worked right. So I gave up. May see about getting another from another place but will look at it first because I notice these neither one's starter button stuck up very much like my other one.

I don't think I would have the patience for that gadget. I keep my pins in a cheap small plastic Ziplock container with a cover. I also use the flower head pins.

Did you also see how much 'fun' it is to load, and reload? I'll just keep using the wonderful pincushions made by my friends.

They use them in auto shops to hold nuts and bolts as they take them from an engine...we have just adapted them for our use in our sewing rooms! I love the way they hang on to my rollers when I am pinning a quilt to my LA.

I don't know just doesn't look very "handy" to me. You have to push down on a lever every time before you can get a pin! For sixty bucks that gadget had better be handing me the pin!

At 59.99 there should be some color choices and, what's this, batteries not included?!
