I have a problem though. I have a label left for Leann but I remember making your block. You sent the same fabric as Oatw13 I think...kind of like a peacock fabric (the eye of the feather with orange and other colors in it)? If you received a block from me please let me know otherwise I have to go looking as it is not in my box but I know I made one because I remember doing it when I was in Philly for my conference for work (I am hoping I hand wrote the label) It was a two color block using your fabric and then a green and turquoisish (sp-not even sure it's a word lol) fabric.
Did any of that make sense?? :shock: :shock:

Got my block from April today! The vibrant colors are perfect girl! thanks and look for a lil something coming back your way. And Katy, I mailed the redemtion block to you last week. I hope it will hold up better than the first. I will wait a decade or so before I try applique again! lol so sorry

Thanks for the Friend request on FB. I friend requested someone on your page cause I found his pics and comments intriguing. I hope you like your block. Really not that special but I have so much fun playing with the colors. Sad to see the posts slowing down so much. I love seeing what people receive and make.

Well, I am assuming that this is the final count on this quilt. If someone out there is still planning on making one of these let me know otherwise I will fill in two squares and begin to make this quilt. Thanks to everyone who has participated in this swap, I have truly enjoyed swapping with each and everyone of you. I also understand if life got in the way and you could not participate. Sew on and see you all on other swaps hopefully.

After seeing your fabric I loved it, went to the LQS and found it in different backgrounds-they had made up a quilt using your fabric but were out of it. Yesterday I happened to be there and saw it again, since it was on sale I went ahead and got 1 yd for my stash.:)

Oh boy! I got a phone call from the specialists office telling me they had to change my appointment on the 25th of this month to November 17th as they just found out the doctor has a meeting on the 25th. My neuro-op wanted it even before the October 25th and I about had a nervous breakdown when talking to the lady. I said I cannot keep living in this level of pain and vision issue. She said well we can see you in our NY office (my appointment is in CT) and I said for whatever reason your NY office is not participating with my insurance only your CT one is so I have to come to CT. She said well I can put you on a wait list if someone cancels and then tells me oh wait I had someone cancel tomorrow morning at 8..do you want that one?? GRRRR really I was practically in tears and then she tells me that? I said of course I want it so I told my boss I am changing the day and hopefully we will be on the path to answers a little sooner than we had thought! Keeping my fingers, toes & eyes crossed.
