This is the way I feel. The other day when my friend and I were in the parking lot in front of Joann's I asked her if she had ever been in the "high class" consignment shop that is close to Joann's. She said no...do you want to go in? I said...no I don't need clothes. Okay...that part is not exactly true. But... I couldn't wait to get inside Joann's. lol

I know what you mean. I don't have the time to sew like I wish I could so sometimes after work and after dishes are finished, I go into my sewing room and touch all my fabrics or refold them. I feel the need to enter into their world :D

I have been told (LOL) that when something interferes with everyday normal stuff it is called and ADDICTION! Hehe I guess I'm an addict then. I love to sew everyday and would if the rest of the group didn't holler for something to eat at least twice a day.

Yes, I definitely get obsessed. But it is usually because I cannot carve out any time in my schedule for my sewing room. I do try to devote one day a week (well more like a morning or afternoon) specifically to my sewing room. If I can pencil it into my calandar, I don't fret so much.

I'm the same way right now. I thought maybe it was menopause causing me to not want to be domestic anymore. I hate to cook, clean, shop, some days I don't even want to be bothered to take a shower!! I just want to head down to the sewing room and lose myself.

AWWW I used to feel like this - when I was younger and working so many hours: Bless Your Heart Johnniesgirl - Sometimes I would stay awake at night and work on a lil Sun Bonnet Sue: Saying if I can only do one doll tonight, at least that is something::: I am retired now and look forward to each day - TO SEW: There is a season for all things:
