RATS! I gave all of my late DH's ties away. I love your quilt and wish I could have his ties back but way to late for that! We don't have a GW outlet..wish we did!

Wow..pretty! I have been gathering ties for a while. This summer at a garage sale I was thinking about should I or shouldn't I?...the lady then said "they are $5 each or the whole box for 15 cents!" So I have a box full plus now an idea of what to do with them, thank you:-)

CAn you post a photo of the purse?.....maybe someone will recognize the pattern or give you some pointers.

I've inherited my Dad's ties after he passed away and have been looking for a suitable project for them. I saw a quilt top made with men's ties in a tumbling block pattern which was stunning. Still not ready to cut into the ties yet. I'm sure it's an emotional issue!
