Hi Clare, Glad to see another North Dakotan, even if it is on the other side of the state. I live in Larimore. I went to the local guild one winter and intended to give it a go again after my husband passed away. But I found so many little "cliques" and did not feel welcome at all so I didn't go back. It's the same people leading things all the time no matter who the officers or teachers may be and I deal with some of the same ones at our church so I decided to forget it. Now I have about 5-6 women who come to my house once a week - we share supper, visit, learn from each other.....and currently are working on some quilts to send to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in SD which is one of the poorest places in the USA and it is ranked up there with Africa and such places as needing help. Our quilts are not heirloom quality - just a warm quilty hug!
