When I was still working (many years ago)I wore shapewear every day and got used to it. However, now I wear the most comfortable undies I can find (and sometime not at all). Retirement has been a blessing!

Very good information. I was wondering, did you purchase the "Panty Style" garment? I have purchased a few garments in the past, I feel it is worth it, to find the "just right" garment. My biggest issue was that the waist would ride up, or roll. That can be very annoying. I don't really care to purchase a "full length " garment, as they can be warm and cumbersome to undress for bathroom trips. Thanks in advance for the information.

DONT get the ones with the hooks in front as you'll either break your nails gettting them hooked OR you bop your nose with your hand trying to suck in & hook up OR u yell and everyone in the house flies out the house in terror! Ask me how I know! LOL....so Spandex is good idea but try one on for size 1st.

I'm getting ready for my daughters wedding in dec. and just bought a body shaper at Dress Barn 24.00 and it comes up just under the bra. They also have the tops too. My SIL bought a full body one at Younkers the full body one thats kinda of like a slip and all. I tried one one I didn't like it too much work.
