October 2011 Doll Quilt Swap
#482
As some of you might know, my June partner never followed through with a quilt. After several messages to her by me and by Chele...I was sent this quilt from the angel bank. It was made by Maggie_1963 and it was perfect...bright and cheerful which is exactly what I needed. Thanks again Maggie.

I finally found my camera  . It wasn't even in my sewing room...I had loaned it to my son who wanted to use it for a weekend getaway. I had forgotten all about it until he called me. So, here is my little masterpiece made by "fromzstore". It's hard to see here but the scissors are set into the diagonal seam making it 3D as well as the pincushion and strawberry. So many little unexpected add ons also!!! It's just a work of art and I couldn't be happier with it. It's going to hang on the door going into my sewing room. Thank you so very much Linda!!!

Aren't Angels wonderful, what a nice quilt you received. There must have been a good reason for the mishap in June and now you have it in front of you to enjoy forever.

cjaye, what a good idea to hang it on the door to your favorite space. fromzstore did a wonderful job in capturing all the important elements of a quilters life; sewing machine, thread, tomato and fabric - what more could a girl ask for?
