Do any of you use a rotary cuter as a seam ripper. I was useing a rotary cutter to rip a long (98") seem. It seem to work fine. At least I did not cut the fabric or myself.

I have done that a few times when my seam ripper was out of sight, but I try not to make it a habit.

Doesn't Eleanor Burns use a rotary cutter for a seam ripper? I think I have seen her do that. I would surely cut my finger off if I tried it!

I have, but only when the seam ripper was 'lost' and it was a short space to rip.
I prefer to use my scalpel, but now those are dull, so it's back to the seam ripper. I need a source to buy more scalpels.

ITA .... or slice the fabric .... so I don't think I'd even contemplate!

But if it works for you, then that's all that matters!
