I have no issues with bindings. Binding = closure. LOL

I love doing binding too. I sew in on by machine and hand sew it to the back. I just learned how to sew off the corners on a 45 and now even sewing the binding on is fun. It came out wonderful. I learned that from a binding video here......

Since I found this website on binding, I enjoy it.

NONE! I made up my mind when I finally got back to quilting (we moved in 07 and bought a1902 house with LOTS of work at hand, so put the sewing on hold...for 31/2 years.... and into clear plastic storage boxes), I would finish up whatever was unfinished before I started anything else....so now, when I start a project it goes all the way to the finish and I really like it that way...even tho there are many times I really want to go forward with a new project..... when I get to the binding, I know I'm on the downhill run and lots of sense of accomplishment!

This is so funny. I did this type of binding for years before I learn to do the traditional binding. Thought I was doing it all wrong until I saw your post.

Since watching the tutorial about gluing the binding down before stitching, binding has not been a problem. My corners are even better. And then it's done. Yeah!

I like the bindings...it's the actual quilting part that slows me down....and if the dog will give me enough time to get any sewing done! LOL!!!

I don't mind the binding part but I really dislike the backing part.
