    My grandfather has been having some health issues and I wanted to make him a quilt for when he sleeps on the couch. He served in the armed forces so I wanted it to be patriotic. Had a lot of fun making this. Love the pattern and would do it again. Even pulled off quilting without a lot of bunching. Have also decided that I prefer to hand stitch the binding down so you don't see the thread.
