Even quilting in the strips will entail crossing a number of seams. I love hand quilting but it's not just that. I haven't had a lot of success with machine quilting. Handling all that materiel with my machine resulted in puckers and I was very unhappy with the results. I'm also thinking of paying someone to machine quilt with a long arm but hate the idea of doing all this work and then not completing it myself. Thanks for the interest in my project :-)

It is absolutely wonderful!! Love your colours. I would machine quilt it as there are so many seams. But whatever you decide it will be lovely. Please post pictures when you are done. It's OK, we'll wait if you decide on hand-quilting!

I am currently hand quilting a log cabin - and it has been quite a mission :) The design I selected cross too many seams.

If I was going hand quilt another log cabin, I would do a simple design - and just quilt a straight line through the middle of each block (away from those pesky seams). :)

Your quilt is going to be absolutely beautiful when completed. Love to hear an update on what you decide to do, and of course a photo when finished. :)
