Thanks Sharon for the help on this one. I do have 13 flakes and 10 Pointsettias, Please let me know what you are doing so I can keep a hard copy of this. Thanks for your understanding on this!

I ams trugling to get a handle on the new board. If you need me pm me. I am giving up on the posts. I am signed up for the pointsettia and snow flake swap. I have all the plates done and am turning the edges on the centers and pressing them. The next step it to sew them down and then out they go.

Deb,
I did the snowflakes and you have them. I am so happy to have found this swap on the new site. This has certainly been a mess.

I am sure it will just take time to get used to. One thing I miss though, I that I had all the addresses of the quilters in all of my former swaps on the activity section. I relied on that to send little somethings annonmously....and I am not really sure how to post pics now, even with the directions....and....there doesn't seem to be a way to track the swaps like I did in the past. I will have to think about how I would do swaps now.

Unless they make some more drastic changes to make this easier to navigate and track, I have already made my decision. I AM FINISHED!

Patti that saddens me- it has not been an easy transition for anyone - but we hope in the end the struggle is worth it. I know learning all the new ins and outs is challenging - trust me I know LOL

I'm doing the snowflakes. The points are done, turned and pressed, but packed away until Sunday when they will get to come out and completed. I think I will try using fusible thread to place them on the background. Deb, please pm with your address so I know where to send them.

I had a late joiner to the pointsettia swap - good as we were short.....so, inlight of his request - for those of yo making the pointsettia plates - if you wish, you make them rounded if that suits you better, you make them a combination of round and pointed.....I am sure there are some of you who are just getting started on the plates, so here is a nice option for you, and it will make the pointsettias more interesting as well. If you need my addy for the blocks, just pm me. Remember to send a return address label and a $4.95 stamp. Blocks due by Nov 30.

Rounded poinsettias will be interesting. I'm glad we have another joining. Does that make 11 now?
