    I guess I think the applique looks like of 'small' for the border area but I wanted to leave room for decorative quilting....
    I thought of adding more applique but didn't want to OVERdo it.

    Oh, I am very impressed with your appliques. I just finished a quilt that I put appliques on the border, too. I got it done the first time and the border looked blank, so I added appliques and some hand embroidered designs and it made all the difference in the world. Yours are so pretty and so balanced and the colors overall are really great. Thanks for sharing.

    Has anyone ever done a D9P in Batik? I have some batik fabric and wanted to see what it would look like to do the D9P. Possibly for a baby Quilt..?
