Here is the tutorial for the spirng blocks we did, the pointsettias are made the same way. If you want to join, you are welcome, as I can always use another pointsettia to swap out. If you are going to join, please pm me.

I know the swap is closed, but I have had two more wishing to join, They will pm me if they are definitely doing pointsettias. Remember the blocks are due Nov 30, send them along with a return address label and a $4.95 stamp.

greetings all

i've found the new forum.

i've been busy working on my blocks and should have both sets done by wednesday next week.

i'll post pics before i pop them in the mail.

i hope everyone enjoyed their break from the forum and had fun sewing.

i really enjoyed the free time and got so much done.

All my plates are basted and I am sewing them down with a blanket stitch. Deb had said this part would go fast and it is. I am really enjoying seeing the end product. I also hope to send them out in a week or so and will post pictures before they go out.

Oh no Deb I hope you figure it out soon. I have posted with the new system but I tried today and it would not let me. Several years ago I was on a forum like this and I had to shrink the pictures on a website before I could post. It was a pain and I sure hope I will not have to again.

Sad news here. ljdugas 31's mom passed away. She is having a very hard time. I have two now that have dropped out. I am posting who I know I have for sure here, and what indicated is being done. Since we have the new board, and I lost the original listing of who was involved, I think we are going to have a little issue of enough blocks to swap out. Snowflakes - 9 total Pattis47, Islandwiz, Fancy_Fabric, SharonB, Annaquilts, Sapdoggie, wholeheartmom, Krisb, monalisa. Pointsettias - 10 total islandwiz, fancy_fabric, Annaquilts (2) Sherri R (3) sapdoggie, Robert, Monalisa. These do not include mine that I will do. With the two dropping out ....and the rest who haven't let me know as I lost their names when we switched over - please, I ask that if your name isn't on here and you are doing snowflakes or pointsettias - please let me know. And if I have made a mistake on what you are doing or the # of sets, please correct me!

To post pics they do have to be under a certain size but Patrice has posted a cheat sheet on it - if you have Paint or Microsoft Picture it really isn't that hard - here is the help

I'll have two sets of poinsettias finished tomorrow and my third nearly done. I would love do do a snowflake but not sure I can finish in time as were going away for Thanksgiving and I also need to finish a quilt for my Mother-in-law before we go...... I've decided to make hers Dresden Plates too. I love them and think she'll like it. She's 86
