I guess that you are working your tail off trying to get them done. Too bad she didn't have a deadline so that you could have done one or two at a time instread of all at once. I am still looking for my Phillies fabric. Can't seem to figure out where my kids could have stashed it when they cleaned my room out when I was in New York visiting my oldest daughter. They really made a mess, just dumped a lot of stuff upstairs in no order. They now know you don't touch Mom's stuff unless she is there too.

Sorry! I hate having to rush to get stuff done. I was in the same boat a few weeks ago for my son's Harvest party.

Kind of in the same boat. Supposed to call and get with the guy that is doing the seats for my oldest son's cycle. All I need to do is finish sewing the back seat using his machine. The gentleman doing the seat has had a spell of bad health and doesn't have the strength of finish. I had forgotten all about it till we went by son's house yesterday.

Sounds like you have done the best you can do, under the circumstances. Too bad when she gave you the order she did not tell you exactly when she would need them. You probably would not have forgotten about them then. Best of luck.

Sounds like you are really getting busy getting them done. Surely she will understand and be happy that you are getting the order out as fast as you can. I hope you will show us pictures when you are finished!

She should have given you a date when she hired you to make them.

Is there anyone who can help you, at least with the cutting or whatever.

dressmaker friend has this sign in her office: "your lack of planning and foresight are NOT my emergency. i do not read minds. i am not a miracle worker. tell me what you need, and when you need it. i will not lose sleep over your oversight!"

good luck! sounds like you're performing miracles already!!

My customer was thrilled...loves that they are all a bit different...2 of them are tan dot Morgan Jones...and a White Morgan Jones are the most expensive of the Chenilles....She wants me to include the tag from the bedspread on one of ones that I will still be making...
She was going to see 3 of the people today so she only really needed 3 of the bears for today. We will be meeting in 2 weeks for the rest.
Normally when I take an order...it is on a formal order slip...and a deposit is taken...nothing like this happened and I really think that is why the order didn't stick in my mind.
