The possibilities are endless, books on one shelf, ufo's on the rest. I do not store my fabric near any sunlight, sun bleaches out color very fast, so for me fabric storage is out of the question. If you store UFO's on it, you will have to finished them, before they fade (ha ha).

I also crochet so I have one with 16 cubicals and i use it to store my yarn in most of them. There are a couple that have fat quarters and bundles. Works great. Put yarn in end first, looks like a yarn shop.

Personally I would use it to store my skeins of yarn for crocheting. I also like teh idea of the clear shoe boxes for FQ's.

I stored fabric in these and ended up with a grid pattern embedded in the bottm ones. I like the UFO idea and you can hang patterns and whatevers from the sides with wooden chothes hangers.
    Good Find!

I would also use it for fabric but would also suggest that you put a sheet of hard plastic like the kind you would use to make templates down first otherwise you will get a waffle design on the bottom fabric and have to iron first or worse yet it may rust and you would have rust spots on the fabric in a waffle pattern. Sorry but had it happen to me.
