Hole in quilt help needed
I have 2 baby quilts on my 12' LAQ frame, sitting side-by-side. I'm using a pantograph pattern and I noticed that there is a small hole in one of the quilts, in an area that has been quilted. What should I do? These are my own quilts and I have no idea how the hole got there. It is about the size of the top of a large pin head, so it isn't huge but I want to somehow repair it. How do I do that? The hole is not in a small block of fabric but in a fabric piece that is 4x42".
Thanks,
CJ

A heart would work, the pantograph is 'Hearts a flutter' and the baby quilt has some appliqued hearts in the sash this hole is in. Or maybe a flower cause another heart might be too many hearts but I think I can find something to applique there.
Would you do it while it is on the LAQ frame or afterwards?
Thanks!

If you're not going to fix it on the frame, put a tiny safety pin on the spot so you can find it later to mend. I don't have a LA so I don't know if it is fixable on the frame? A small applique seems to be the way to go. Examine the hole and see if it's a cut or a moth hole. If it's a moth hole you may find others.

The 2 baby quilts are off the frame and finished. I'll look into an applique --- thanks!
