I bought 2 packages of the painter's canvas from Home Depot, size 10 feet by 20 feet. I took them to the laundermat and washed and dried them. Then I made slipcovers for my daughters 8' sofa and two matching club chairs. They are very modern looking now that she has done a contemporary design on them with fabric paint. VERY COOL!!! A Lot of fabric for very little cash!!

Great idea for the ironing board. I will have to check out Lowe's prices.
I have one already, because someone told me they're good for blocking quilts. You use it to help protect the flooring (carpet or hardwood) from the damp quilt.

I don't need any canvas, but I have a stack of templates that he nice female clerk at Lowes cut for me in just the size
that I needed. My across the street neighbor went in with me, and the total cost came to about what I paid for one 6 1/2
inch square template. There are two drawbacks. First, they can only cut straight lines. Second, your new templates will be perfectly clear with no guidelines on them.

I was in JoAnns today and had a blast, of coarse it ticked some people off and made others laugh, it was so crowded, this customer had her cart so packed with fleece, it would fall over onto the floor, so, she would pick it up and the pile would fall over again, because it was such tight quarters, people kept tripping, and would get mad at her, i finally said, very loudly, why don't you watch where your walking, and then i would say, Happy Thanksgiving, i guess you had to be there. I bought lots and lots of flannel for pillowcases, and some very pretty quilted fabric to make my DIL and overnite bag with matching shoe bag, and lots of pockets. Hope she likes it.
