I thought I would toss in another suggestion for storing old sewing machine needles, bent pins and such. I use an empty spice jar. It even has the holes (for shaking the spice out) so I just drop the pins, etc. in the hole. Only problem is that even though I washed the container, it still smells like garlic every time I open it! LOL!!!

I also use old medicine containers for old pins and needles. I have a round one the old worn out rotary blades fit into.

It's just older cabinets. I assume now that most men use disposable razors, there's no need for them anymore. See? You're not crazy!

Instead, choose cinnamon!!! ........ or a spice you'd enjoy!

I use the plastic tub that bulk chewing gum comes in. Rotary blades sit flat in the bottom. I keep it right by the sewing machine so I can easily open to toss out bent pins as found. (no wee ones, so don't have to worry about the up high!)

Boy, I'm getting more and more examples of how old I am getting - it seems like common knowledge to me what those slits in the back of medicine cabinets are for. But I bet my kids have no idea of what it is used for!

Heck, I use pill containers for all sorts of things...one being to put bent needles and pins in and doesn't take up a lot room. Been doing this for years.

LOL! Unfortunately, the garlic powder was the one that emptied first! Definitely will switch it out when something more pleasant empties out!

I use an old prescription bottle that is large enough for rotary blades.
