    So wonderful! Need to grab another tissue! This has to be a great "gift" to you this holiday season. It certainly warms my heart.     How fantastic is that. My mothers old Singer is in a box in the basement. I sure hope it survives until I can take it home. She doesn't want to give up anything while she's here and I can understand somewhat but she isn't sewing any more. She's 86 and we got a Kenmore for her a while back thinking it would encourage her to keep sewing but she's given up doing anything. Dad died 5 years ago and she has stopped living also. So sad

    what a lovely tribute to great grandmother, grandmother, and mother. and a "badge of courage" for the newest generation. i love how the skill and love of the machine goes down through the generations. you have done a wonderful thing.
