I bet we live really close ! I need to go to goettafest next year. It seems I always have to work that weekend. We do attend Shutzenfest and always get goetta .
I have been missing only a couple of days ( not feeling very well) and wow I think there was about 50 pages of posts.
Ok I love Goetta, we even have goetta fest! Kim I bet we live close.
Alot of nice packages being received.
Bless you Lori, you sure do alot. I have said a prayer for you.

Thx for trying Louise and Diana, but I have someone from another thread who's going to give it to me. The link worked for them after hitting NO 3 times. Anyway, they tried to send it to me but it wouldn't let me accept it so they said they would scan it and sent it to me that way. I appreciate you trying tho, thx!

Coconut Joys
1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
2 cups of powdered sugar
3 cups of coconut
3 ounces semi sweet cholate chips
melt butter in microwave in glass bowl until completely melted, add powdered sugar and coconut and mix well. Shape into balls, using rounded teaspoon. Easiest to scoop with spoon and then roll into balls in the palm of your hands. Make an indentation in center of each ball (I use my thumb) and place on cookie sheet. They kind of look like a birds nest I think after you make the center hole. Microwave chocolate chips until melted on full power. Fill the center with melted chocolate and chill until firm. Store in refrigerator. Makes about 36. I almost always run out of the melted chocolate and have to melt some more. They are really easy and kids love to make them! Adults love to eat them.
