So sorry to hear this. While you're "not quilting", Have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year, and maybe you can surf the web and get lots of quilting ideas. Hope you heal fast and are back into the swing of quilting soon.

I am so sorry this has happened to you so close to Christmas. I fell and broke my ankle in July three weeks after opening my long arm shop. I understand your frustration! So much to do and can't do anything. My suggestion would be to try to enjoy the holiday season and let everyone wait on you! This is a short blip in the over all picture and soon you will be back to going full steam ahead! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year!

Been there, done that so I know exactly how you feel. I was in the process of hand finishing a binding on a quilt for a quilt show when I turned around and fell over the head of a bearskin rug and broke the shoulder, dominant one of course. Oh well, got lots of reading done. My sympathies!!

Before you know it you'll be getting back. I pray for your healing.
I've recently purchased a book THE MEMORY QUILT, A CHRISTMAS STORY FOR OUR TIMES, by T. D. Jakes. I'm enjoying it very much. I think today I will take some time off from projects (mostly baking) to really get into the book. I found this book on the Walmart bookshelf.
