I'm a sucker for anything in Batik.

I'm always looking for tone on tone to add color and just a little texture. I also have trouble finding shirting to go with Civil War blocks. The way I usually select fabric is to find a gorgeous focus fabric and then build around that. I have found really pretty focal fabrics very hard to find. I like vibrant florals or pretty geometrics, but don't really care for the modernistic designs much. I tend to be more of a traditional quilter and being fairly new to quilting, I still make mostly bed-sized quilts.

Pantone says the color of this year is Tangerine Tango, which will be the color we'll be seeing in many manufactured goods like clothing and cosmetics, I'm guessing. Last year's color sure was everywhere! As I recall it was some kind of vibrant pink.

1930's! Anything fresh and modern. Good luck with your store, and have fun!

I like using stripes for bindings.

At the moment I'm not looking for any colors or fabric either one. I'm trying to reduce my stash. If I need help will PM you.

I find it really difficult to find that perfect yellow.

I really want to do a tan, beige, brown and dark brown quilt. I just have to finish my other projects first, which means I probably will not get to it this next year.

My stash is pretty full right now, but I'm going to make a quilt that's got shades of aqua, creamy white, and red. I've seen several in that color scheme and I'm in love!

What I have a hard time finding are nice grays and browns, especially pale gray. And, personally, I want yellow this coming year, bright, happy, lemony, yellow!

I am doing a road trip to Missouri this coming year. I will have to stop in and visit with you!

I will be looking for a lot of the "natural" colors and also purples...and lots of them. Both my DDILs love purple and I want to make them both quilts in purples.
