I got a Hunter's Star cutting square in my stocking and then a childhood friend/quilting buddy gave me some fabric that had been on my wish list at Equilter. I had made my list public when I was working on a quilt for her daughter(before I got her started quilting)....was a huge surprise!!

No goodies for me . This year we adopted a family that needed financial help and didn't buy unnecessary trinkets for ourselves. Best Xmas ever because it feels good in spirit. I might take advantage of a few after season sales though Happy holidays to all!

I didn't get anything quilt related May be going out to the Apple Store and getting an iPad2, not sure yet. Would really love a new Janome Horizon, but a bit pricey. Hoping Road to California show will have some machine venders with good prices.

I got 4 quilt books that I wanted, and spent last night picking out projects that I want to make.
But I am most excited about getting the Shape Cut Plus ruler and an adjustable height drafting stool. Since my sewing machine is on a counter-height table, it is pretty great.

I received 4 novels --all sewing mysteries. all of the "A Someday Quilts Mystery". I have some fabrics on the way, and a new/old sewing machine in the shipping. Yea! Oh and a new Iron-off fabric marker that I can't wait to try.

Mine wasn't sewing related either but I'm still soooo excited about it!! We've had a Harley Davidson Heritage for several years and I've always wanted a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. Finally got it and it's red too.
