    Both are beautiful. When I make quilts I pick colors to suit my taste, I don't worry about values or color wheel.

    I love them both. I think the crib quilt would especially be loved and used by a boy for a very long time.

    I have just had a crib quilt request from my niece and she wants blue and brown, so yes, I would give it as a baby quilt. The last couple of quilts I have made for babies have been non-traditional.

    For sure! You have done a wonderful job and I hope you feel proud of achieving something that obviously was out of your comfort zone. Your eye will get used to it but it may never be a favourite to you. We all have colours we are more drawn to. Glad you asked for some advice from the board members as it really is lovely. Very worthy of being a gift.
