Not hard at all!!! Ditto what everyone else said and also when you sew your strips together alternate between sewing from the top down and from the bottom up, it will keep your strips even and prevent them from bowing.

I agree with Lori S. I made several years ago when they first came out and found them not difficult at all, just got to pay attention and keep track. Go for it you will love it.
They are easier than they look. I put off doing one for years. I just could not wrap my brain around sewing strips into a tube .. and then unsewing/taking stitches out . Once I did my first one , and yes the first few strips where a brain challenge... I loved it. The sewing was the easy part.
Just take it slow till your brain adjusts to the new method. Stay organized ! I have a large bulletin board I use for my strips sets. It helps to keep them organized and going in the right direction.
Try a lap size for your first one. Its a great method! Make this a New Years resolution!

go for it, bargello in the round was my 2nd.quilt to make.I have sewed all my life but never was interested in quilting
until I retired,I've been quilting about four yrs,if I can do it you can to.
