I agree that the quilt is yours to do as you wish. I also would not tell the Guild that it was sold or for how much. Congrats on your win!

It's yours now so you can do what you want with it. You were generous enough to actually do work on the quilt and buy raffle tickets so there is no need for guilt. However, I do understand that you don't want to raise your friends' ire. So sell it if you want and if anyone asks about the quilt you just say you passed it on to a very appreciative person. They don't have to know if you sold it, gave to friend or donated it to a charity.

It's your quilt. You can do whatever you want with it.

It is your quilt to do as you wish with. Whether you sell it or give away is no ones business but yours.

I think giving it to a charitable organization for them to raffle off is a wonderful idea!

I would do what I wanted. If you didnt know any of the people who made the quilt and just bought the ticket, you would sell it, so I say sell if you cant use it.

I also agree that you have supported their causes, but now it is yours to do as you please.

I donated a quilt to a church, they raffled it off and made $425.00. The raffle winner offered to sell it back to me for the price of his ticket ($5.00). It was his quilt to do with as he pleased, I bought it back! I made a gift of the quilt to a friend, who loves it.
