Apparently your Goodwill is much better than our Goodwill. The only thing even close to fabric at ours is usually old worn out curtains that are labeled as fabric. We just have junk. That would be amazing to find that much good fabric for that price. I certainly wouldn't tell him about the quantity; might be too much for him to take.

I have never seen material here like this. It looks like it all came right off the bolt. I would really like to know where they are getting it from. Usually all we have is a couple of very small cuts. I'm wondering if maybe they got it from a Quilt Shop closing. I find it hard to believe that this was all privately owned.

You are very lucky!! I live in central New Jersey and my Good Will store never has material - at least during the three or four times a year I drop off stuff a drop in to see what's for sale. Maybe the trick is to go more often. LOL

Congratulations! I have never found any quilting fabric at any of the Salvation Army/Goodwill type shops. Last year I did find some drapery fabric. So I say you did Wonderful!!!! If your dh complains just figure out what all that fabric would have cost you at a quilt shop price. If you truely can't afford the expense then go ahead and sell some that isn't your favorite here on the boards. That way both your dh and those who purchase some of it from you will be happy.
But I say KEEP it if you can. You will be able to make gifts, or donate quilts or fabrics to worthy causes and you will feel great about the wonderful deal you got on the fabrics. Just enjoy your windfall!!!!!!!

Enablers, enablers, enablers!! But I would have done the same except I have no hubby to tell! HeHe. I totally agree that if you don't want or need it all, you can definitely sell it here and break even and maybe make a little more "spare change" for the next time you find a great deal!
