Heart & Home quilt of the the Month...By Charisma
Well during the summer while my machine was down ...I put together some tops and I am just now getting around to quilting them.
This one is by Suzanne McNeill. It is a jelly roll sampler. I used one Jelly roll ..the original pattern calles for yardage on the borders..but I just used my leftover strips to make a piano key border. I only bought yardage for the small inner border and binding... & of course backing. I had bought a Kansas Troubles Jelly roll on sale at one point and it was laying in my stash.
It only took me a few hours to peice the quilt...and I was able to quilt it in a few hours...one night ( I stayed up late) I used a ruler in the border....but everything else was freehand.
I just wanted to add many textures to bring out the elements of the quilt.
Thanks so much for looking.
Oh I am also sorry for some reason although my pictures are saved right side up...the QB isn't posting them that way?? I have no idea how to fix it.

You do the most beautiful work - I love seeing your creations!
The only way I have figured out how to correct the photo display issue is this: if I have a portrait photo and I want it to post that way, I put it in a photo editor (any kind will do - you likely have something that came with your computer: Paint, Windows Photo Editor, etc. I use Google's Picasa), rotate it so that it looks correct, and save it again as a vertical photo. It seems to load correctly when I do that.
