Amen!!!! You are my kind of quilter - love quilting and all that goes with it but don't worry about "total" perfection. Just love the idea of creating and putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle which is what I call my quilting. Do all that I can to make it look lovely but if I find a mistake - It is "my signature" on a quilt.

I'm definitely a 2. My room is not neat. I do clean it between projects and swear I'm going to keep it neat. However, by the time I finish the projectit's a mess again. My DH just comes in and shakes his head. I have the floors mopped a couple of times a month. So there is not dust on the floors most of the time. I would like to be a one, so that my quilts are perfect but it probably isn't going to happen. I do have a friend who tears it out till it is perfect. She just knows I'm not that picky. I figure she can be what she wants as long as she accepts me as I am.

I am a 11/2. I enjoy a near-perfect result and work to acheive that, although many times I do not! I do enjoy pushing myself to make something look it's best. Enjoy is the key and I think we should enjoy ourselves, however we choose to stitch!

For myself

2. Like to do the best I can on quilting but I can live with a mistake or two

but I think for others they should be allowed to be themselves. I have a friend who follows no rules at all and I love her "funky" style of quilting. For me quilting is not all about the project but more about the process and if you enjoy it. So if you are very meticulous it is great but if not it is great too.

2 or me! Quilting is a way to relax - hopefully not stress.
