What a lovely quilt. There are not mistakes only I meant to do thats. That is my story and I stick by it.

You were really brave to begin this quilt years ago. The design is a definite challenge. I hope your bravery carries you forward into many new designs. Enjoy your work. We all learn so much with each quilt we work on....or else if we don't challenge ourselves, we get bored. But you know, you can now and then, choose an easy design to ease up.

It a beautiful quilt! I love it, & a difficult one for a 1st one! When I sew with my grandchildren, I tell them that all those little things which scream at those of us who made the object are just little signatures! As the years go by, we realize how much we have learned! It is wonderful!!!!

Fabulous! I think you should rename it as a new pattern, a new technique with no points, and we would all think, "That looks really cool! I think I'll try that!" You could even do a tutorial on how to cut off the points!! lol I really like the effect!
