Great find! It looks like it will work great. I'd be tempted to use the sink as a "waste basket"....maybe my cut threads would make it into the trash and not the floor if the basket were so convenient.

Great find and creative mind! I LOVE it. My husband and I go to flea markets all the time and see things that can be used for quilting such as this. Glad you have it and it looks so good in your sewing room!

Lucky girl, I love thrift stores. Never know what you'll find. Not to long ago I was at a thrift store and found a professional steamer, new...never used for $2.00 ( they sell for about $300.00). It was in a dusty old cardboard box with no markings, so I'm assuming most people, thought it was some kind of weird vacuum. What a lucky find that was, it works perfectly. Best $2.00 investment I ever made!!!
