    i would pick something different than the beige. it's too light to go with the other fabric and draws away from it. i would look at the coloured fabric and chose a colour from that. the work itself looks good though. if you think something is off about it you should follow that on this and all your work.

    I love both of the fabrics - the darker is particularly gorgeous, but it is a strong contrast. For me, I'd go for something with a bit less contrast than the lighter color.

    Love that dark backgroud fabric. I too would play around with the block placement.

    Very Striking, I thnk the beauty will come when there are many blocks joined together. High contrast is not bad, its just not for everyone.
