I absolutely love it and this is exactly the way I remember my grandmother doing it, only she sewed the scraps onto pages from the progressive farmer. Some day iif the good lord is willing, I am going to do one like this. Will just have to use another kind of magazine. Thanks for the memory.

o.k., so someone on the board challenged me to do this, and i did. so now i have a new addiction!
greate use of scraps! someone told me mine wasn't 'exactly' crumbs, but i used strips and crumbs that were left ove.

Thank you everyone so much! Thank you, raedar63! Thank you, veronica! Yes some pieces in it are 1/8", 1/16", lots are 1/4" and there's a lot of fabric packed in 3" squares!
Yes, it is a lot of work to make a little block, but I love seeing the little blocks done. Yes, to someone who commented on my patience -- yes, I have lots of patience. And yes, it is amazing what can be done with crumbs so tiny!
