Love your scrappy quilt. Lots of work has gone into it and it is so bright and cheerful

Thanks everyone! I think you can see how I start with big blocks that have been pieced and I cut these down to get maybe 3 or 4 blocks out of it. Then when you put it together, make sure your angles are all going in opposite directions from each other. If there are no angles in the quilt, it'll look dull and unappealing. Hope that helps! Hope yours turns out great now that you've seen the little tut on it.

YES!! Save those tiny scraps! All scraps! To think my tiny scraps will make a cover for someone who is homeless and has nothing! To think someone would throw away a tiny scrap is awful!! Well, you probably did see some of your fabrics in my quilt since I have vintage, old and new. So happy you are inspired now!! See how pretty the itty bitty crumbs can be??? Thank you, MarthaT!!!

Thanks for sharing. Crumbs must be my absolute favourite and my friends. fellow quilters used to laughingly pass on all their crumbs until they saw the results. Now I've been talked into doing a tutorial for the group next month. You have certainly been an inspiration.

I have been saving my itty bitty scraps also. Do you sew them to a foundation?
