I will be there. What do we need for food?

So far the food is a chicken salad, veggie tray, cheese and crackers, brownies, so maybe a fruit plate or a salad for those of you who haven't committed or maybe another dessert or main dish?

I'll be there and will be bringing my friend, Brenda, who came with me to the one at Scarlet Thread. I'm still bringing the chicken salad and she'll bring something but I'm not sure what.

Anyone who wants to car-pool I'll meet you at Target in Woodstock on Hwy 92 at 10 AM. I'm happy to drive it and can hold three passengers comfortably (and plenty of room in the trunk for purchases or show & tell). I'm working now so don't need help with the gas money but it sure is fun having someone to talk quilting with during the drive ;-)

I enjoyed meeting everyone who was at the get-together on Sat. Loved seeing the quilts and very much enjoyed the presentation on barn quilts. Big thanks to Greenini for putting it together and I hope we do it again -- maybe next time at the Scarlet Thread (I am dying to visit that store). The Intown Quilter was an interesting and colorful shop. Don't go there looking for neutrals. I found the perfect backing for a quilt top that I brought to show-and-tell.

I had a great time seeing everyone too. Thank you Greenini for arranging it.

Ashley and I are planning our barn quilt now

A great meeting! Thanks Greenie. I can't wait to get my book. Wonder what my neighborhood would think if I put a quilt on my house. See everybody next time.

Thanks to all who came! I enjoyed it too. Everybody ok with me sending our sign up info out by PM to other attendees? If not please let me know and I won't include you. It's gonna be a while before I do another one as we have some traveling plans...please feel free to plan a meet up by yourself. Call a quilt shop, ask for a room and announce it!! Bingo, you've got a meet up.
