Oh I do like your block and yes January is exactly as you've described it. Here in Louisiana though we have 1 day of freezing and the next 73 Degrees F..this morning I left the house wearing my favorite sweater as it was very cold... was really hot by 11 a.m! lol Right now it's 64....we never know how to dress! lol

Glad you have you join us Dixie_Fried!
    Hugs,
    Cajun

Sulabug - you're truly a remarkably wonderful hostess.

CajunBear - your weather is like ours, simply wait a minute, it'll change.

Chickadee..........Thank you so much for your kind comment. I love being a part of this BOM project & can't wait to see the next block picture, that will be posted. It's such an enjoyable project to be part of & everyone involved is a treasure to learn from.

I was just thinking how we have our sisters from "down under" and their seasons are opposite of ours and I will be going to visit my daughter in Melbourne in April. Should I do my quilt in Aussie season colors or not???????hmmmmmm I might just have to go buy fabric there. (Yes I know it is very expensive) Although Melbourne is very much like Southern California.
