I have heard that English is one of the hardest languages to learn, but I love it, anyway <g>
even when I know that many languages: Greek, Hebrew, to name two have words that English cannot express to the fullest extent, I just really like words.
plus, Miss ButterflySpain - - synchronization is one of the herd practices I have not mastered .... proof that my dad was wrong about one thing.
Just because you can spell a word and know the definition - - no guarantee you can do it! LOL

Ok...think I finally have it clear...I'm not normally this dense. Just want to make sure I do the right thing.

I just all excited I guess.....So many beautiful quilts and I can't wait to watch them grow.

Exactly! Just remember always that you are among friends and we will always work to help you succeed <g>.
And, when you ask questions until you thoroughly understand what is expected and going on, someone else has benefitted by reviewing what they thought they knew ... but found out I didn't! LOL

I finally started on my center 3 days ago. It's taking me an evening to do one of the corner blocks so I should have the last one done tonight. I'm going to paper piece the star center because I have to line up a wedge of the corner blocks on that block with the circle on the corner blocks and it will be more precisce that way.

I have done the 4 corners in foundation piecing on muslin. I had 8 of the pre-printed blocks left over from another project so I used them. I hope no one minds that there is a double thickness on these blocks.

It shouldn't matter to any other quilter if your center is one piece of fabric, fifty two seams, or one seam, since we aren't the ones who will have to quilt it! <g>
Your work is progressing well, I see. <wave>

omak....  I'm not sure these "non cattle people" would know exactly what synching your cow herd is...but good luck with that..its neigh on to impossible!!

Pam...I love your center...and I DO get to get my paws on it! Omak is right about this...it doesn't matter to me how you layered your center..you have to quilt that baby when it gets home, not me!! Its so pretty..I wouldn't mind that either though!

I have quilted string quilts that were foundation pieced with no problems.
