When I had my sewing room built, I had pegboard put on the upper half of 2 sides of the room. I now have all of my threads and sewing gadgets organized & I am working on the fabric. I ordered pegboard pins from Amazon.com in boxes of 100, I think I have used 500 to date. I have LOTS of thread, rulers & other gadgets.
    I think I paid $18.00 for a box of 100.

If you have a Big Lots around, they usually have the best prices I have found.

I sure would like to see a picture of that. I've been trying to decide how to hang my rulers.

y'all know, i'm sure, in a pinch you can use twisted open paperclips

helps you to figure out the layout and to estimate what you need of each kind

I seen somewhere on here where one of the ladies had her husband make a threadboard from the pegboard. He used wooden dowels cut to the size she wanted. A couple of days ago I made one and I cut my pegs about 2 1/2" long. Then glued them in to hold my spools.Of course they are permanent. I might paint my board like a quilt.Mary

Try Lowe's or Home Depot for the "bat" anchors to keep your pegs in place.

I have a peg board too, it is handy to have all those do-dads where you can easily reach them. I keep my scissons,
rullers, templates and other do-dads on the board.
