I didn't get through all the comments, but I feel so much better about my little sewing room now! I too, live with organized chaos, on a much smaller scale. I always explain that when I am feeling creative, and on a roll, I'm like the swedish chef from the Muppet Show. Also, the best tool I have in my sewing room is a metal child's rake. I use it to clean up the mess on the floor when I am done (scraps too small to save, thread, fusible backing, etc.) - it works like a charm every time.

Sorry, but mine is not that bad, no a fence intended!.... I feel better about my mess. If you need help I could come and go shopping through your all's stashes. Great stashes!....

I frequently call my husband to look at these types of pics( Mainly to say "see,I am not the only one!". This time he said"my god, another cripled mind".

I am laughing out loud about his comment "another crippled mind". That is so funny. I hope and pray that he never sees my unorganized chaos and I would bet that a lot of us could really throw him into a dizzy. My theory is as long as we can work in 'our chaos' don't be critical.

I just can't...when I have that much I can't find what I want and its very demotivating for me to work in a super cluttered space. Sometimes my space gets messy and I find I avoid the room to avoid feeling stressed about the mess, which is the opposite of what sewing is supposed to do for me!

Wow! wish I had so much fabric. I don't think you will ever run out. It would be a blast to walk into theses rooms.

I am just setting up my quilt/sewing room now. I can't wait to be "normal", too!
