I asked my daughter to divide my stash in 35 grocery bags, so that every member of my guild will have a memento, this is my way to tell them how I enjoyed them.

I want a couple of my friends to have my quilting things and if there is stuff they don't want they can donate to the church. I am widowed and told my friends and my kids what I wanted done with my quilting things. A person never knows and I don't want it thrown away.

I told my husband to marry another quilter. It would make it a lot easier on him!

yes, I have thought about it. I told my bff that I want one of my daughters, my granddaughter and her to have all my stuff after my husband looks through and claims any tools he wants.
I have many things that I use that came out of the tools sections of hardware stores, and some vinyl and even a little bit of leather that he may want,...which may surprise him.
I need to put it in writing, so everyone will know what I want and my friend won't feel uncomfortable.
If I don't do this, it's quite possible dh will back the truck up to the window and toss away!

I told my husband to make sure my granddaughters get all my quilting stuff.
He assured me my 'stuff' would not end up at the Agape house.

I hope this isn't disrespectful, but as a mid-30's lover of all things "vintage" I LOVE finding estate sales, CL and ebay sales of some dear and departed person's stash! To be able to afford small bits of someone else's history makes my day! I could never afford to buy all "new" craft/decor so finding these things, even below what they are worth monetarily means a lot to me. So please don't be too upset if some of your well loved things are sold by family who aren't interested. Someone WILL find and love your things

I'm not worried about my sewing stuff. If hubby and I leave this world together, our son says he will be having a big yard sale.
