i am back. did you miss me? what a morning. thought it was wed and i was late for my quilting group. spent a crazy hour rushing to get ready and out of here. as i left the house i realized that none of my neighbors had their garbage out for pick up (wed is pick up day). well, maybe, because it is only tues. so, i have lots of time for one of my favorite pursuits, checking the qb. tomorrow i will go to my quilt group meeting.

this will also allow me the time to finish my other 3 sets of this mystery. i decided to make four, as judy suggested, and make a large top. if i don't like it for a large top then i will have 4 small tops, adding borders, for baby quilts.

quilt on my mysterious ones.

I guess with as many scraps as I have, it would be a sauna spa treatment day. I now have two 55 gallon drums full of scraps and the stash is dwindling to scraps as I work thru my UFOs. Next years resolution, use up all my scraps to a "reasonable" amount. Does anyone know what a reasonable amount is?

A reasonable amount is what you have room to store and can use in a lifetime...or however much you can hide and still stay married.

Are bookmarks the same as favorites? I am really not into the computer at all so this may be a strange ?. Judy, I tried going to setting but didn't see anything.

Don't know if anyone else is like me, but have a hard time cutting into my new fabrics. They are still sitting here. Sorry Judy, but I was so excited to start and now I look at them. And maybe because I have done a lot of paper piecing where I follow lines and don't have to be exact, it's throwing me. Something I need to work through. Maybe tomorrow.

Was on the way to my Mother's eye dr. apt, dead battery. DH was out of town. So I got the battery charger out and re-charged. Get Mom to door - say " stand there until I get door open". Down she went. Needless to say I called and cancelled the apt. Hard to see my little mom on the floor hurting. She didn't break anything - she has been so lucky with her falls, but had to have the neighbor come over and help me get her up. So maybe tomorrow will be a better sewing day.

I'm following the thread and love the blocks that I have seen. This "mystery" will turn out great!!!
