I sent my secret pal their package first thing this past Tuesday morning - it's headed west and a smidge north as the crow flys - it has something special that you asked for.

I received the most delightful package today from CreateQuilt!
Lovely FQs in green, brown and gray.
A teeny tiny roll of teeny tiny lace
An adorable homemade pin cushion
Quilting needles
Gingher Scissors - so maybe I will finally learn applique
And a sweet set of flowery note cards and a pen in a little pink bag.
Thank you so much! I love, love, love it all!

Lori,

Glad you slept in, it does a body good to be able to do that
from time to time.

Happy that the snickers egg and m&m's were a hit, I love them
too, just can't eat them like I want (a nibble here and there at times).

Share some of the pony tail holders with the little cutie (granddaughter);
share with quilting and sewing friends also, but don't forget to share with
yourself, they work GREAT for spools of thread and bobbins too.

My daughters (the oldest and youngest at least) LOVES the Bliss hot
chocolates they have 4 flavors, milk, dark, white & raspberry. My youngest
daughter loves the raspberry the best (so far just sent her the milk and dark)
but she said the white was good too. I know I only sent the raspberry and milk
to youbut maybe next time it can be the other two flavors.

I don't "read" books as much as I use to; at least not since I got my iPod
2-1/2 years ago and started listening to audiobooks again. But I do love
bookmarks (hence why I make so many). I wanted to send you a floral
bookmark, but didn't know what flower(s) you liked best.

The pen I got at WalMart when I go back I will see if they have any more
and pick up a couple extra for you if they do.

I knew you liked cat fabrics so I wanted to make sure to send you some
more in this package like I did with the RAK package I sent in January. The
fishhook fabric I found at a local store that does a unique thing, they by fabric
by the pound from general public (up to a certain amount) and then sale it for
$5.00 per yard on quilt shop quality, and $1.99 per yard for chain store (like
Wal Mart, Hobby Lobby & Joanns). So most the time if you see something
you like you best get it right then or it will be gone (sometimes the same day).
Of course most of the time there might only be 1 yard or maybe just a fq.
But I love that store. I also bought that "Iowa" pattern there as well.

As you can see there was a sheet of "bird" labels that are blank. I TRIED to
make the labels for you using the bird but they did not print out properly so
that is why you got three sheets of white and 1 sheet of blank.

The hoops are from my long ago days when I use to do cross stitch and
hand embroidery. For 20+ years I have been shuffling those blasted hoops
around and finally got tired of it so when I saw you did hand embroidery I
knew you would be the perfect person to give them too.

I hope you enjoy everything that I included in your box, but it was hard for
me to stop finding things to put in as I kept seeing all sorts of goodies I wanted
to keep adding.

Maybe next time it can add them.

ENJOY!!!

Louise

I didn't get home from Marty's until late last night and slept in but wanted to thank you for the package. I did get it last night and it was great! 600 ponys? I will have to share some of those for sure! I haven't heard of Bliss hot chocolate but I bet it's wonderful, I love chocolate! Speaking of that I just finished the snikers egg, yum! I make lists all the time so thanks for those and since I read all the time the bookmark will get put to good use. Where did you find the pen? I LOVE it! It feels good in your hand. The cat fabric will go in my qult for me I will make someday. Love the fabric, I have never seen the one with the fish hooks, cute! M & Ms what more do I need to say right? the hoops will be used as well, I find it relaxing to do hand embroidering while watching TV. Love the IOWA beautiful land pattern, where in the world do you find this stuff? Thank you for making the labels for me. I love everything yo sent and I know it was hard because of the RAK package, but you did good!! Thank you very much for the thought that went into my package. Lori

the last few weeks i have been experiencing some pain issues (potentially chronic) that required strong pain meds. i surely hope i will not end up in a chronic pain management situation so i feel empathy for any who are experiencing it. i have such a hypersensitivity to strong drugs that i am having to explore alternative strategies. accupuncture is one of them.
I'm also one of those who is in a chronic pain situation and have been for years. I feel we pain patients have been done a huge disservice by the anti drug forces. I take pain meds only when needed and would gladly trade my meds for a pain free bod, as would most of those I know who have to take such meds. I have tried accupuncture and sometimes it helps, sometimes not. I hope you are getting some relief Robyn still from your shot and that you continue to get good pain relief. Sometimes the docs are the biggest pains

Havplenty, I hope you find you do not need to take long term pain meds, but when it makes a difference, fighting pain takes a huge amount of your energy, and really causes a lot of problems. If you can get relief, it helps and I will take that anyway I can.

steps off soapbox...

Deborah Barlow...Thank you so much for an AWESOME march pkg. As I was opening up the pkg I was thinking "I wonder if she has been spying on me, everything is so perfect!" I love, love, love the red fabrics. The needle holder/trash bag for my chair or sewing machine is beautiful. I have been thinking about making one for my self but haven't and the one you made is just perfect. The candle is so sweet. I love that it says "Rejoice In the Lord". That is definitely where my joy comes from. Thank you so much. There were so many other goodies...quilting magazines, lotions, beeswax and the cutest flower pin cushion that fits in the top of a spool of thread. You have been a wonderful March pal. Jan R.

Got my SP Swap package today! At least I think it is... there wasn't a note but the return address listed as Lillie B. and did a search on the board and found there is a member listed with Lillie, and some folks do use their name. Checking with Lori to be sure to send the pm. It's a marvelous package Thank you Lillie! I have to get ready to go to a program now, "flight of the woodcocks" at the metro park. They evidently have a unique mating dance/flight. So we are going with one of our daughters to see it. Will post pic tomorrow.
