Red, all is good.
I looked high and low for this fabric in a red/white check especially for this swap.
It also came in a purple/white check and yellow/white. Maybe I should have purchased those colors as well!
I don't know why is so difficult to find ones that are 100% cotton.

I wished many times that I could find the cotton check for quilting. I love the checks, but, I hate the blends. They are a summertime print and I think the powers that be, thinks that ironing is too much when you make summer clothing from it. At least that is my thinking.
I am so glad you understand my reasoning ddddd... thanks!

Here is one set of the 6 1/2' x 6 1/2" swap blocks I made today. I hope you all like them. I thought the wording was perfect for our quilts.

Love it!! Your right, perfect for summer. I'm in the process of making my last set tomorrow. Today I put together the demo block....a couple times until I got the RIGHT size. (I was having some serious brunett moments. lol) And all the fabric is cut and ready to go tomorrow. So, yes, right on track. Will be sending to you soon Sandy.

That sounds great judith! I will look forward to seeing them in person now. You are smart to try them out first before cutting them all.
Have a great night.

Would you consider Rooster with sun shining in the background a summer thing? LOL
I mean what's summer without that rooster waking you up before your alarm goes off!
