And congratulations to you too, JeanieG .... when will you be celebrating your 30th/31st?
We celebrated our 30th last December 19th. On top of that, Joe's first wife had passed away (she had a melanoma that went bad), and we raised his four and my two. His youngest was 9 and both of our oldest were 14! Thank goodness I am so organized! LOL We now have 14 grandchildren!

Oh so many chuckles here in Iowa!! Love it. Before I forget dublb, your blocks are awesome. Those nice ovals in the center of several just give an added softness.
Alas I am a child bride-not quite. DH and I were/are HS sweethearts and he claims we were out to beat the odds of our marriage surviving and so we have this past 40+ years. Maybe it's because we've worked side by side most of those years.
Hands up in the air--it'llbe ages before I get back to FWS; inspired to try to keep up on the trial instead. But get sidetracked.
Today had quild workshop-a nice bag and since I'm not a "bag" lady this is a stretch for me. Then guild challenge to do blocks for a QOV. Snooping around in my scraps I found cast off's from another guild member and I have lots of triangles to make 3" finished HST's so want to work on that too.--careful Bev you may find some missing from your stash!!! LOL seriously have plenty to make over a dozen blocks so guess I will fill my one block quota! Now off to this weeks blocks.

My DH and I celebrate our 10th this Sunday.....as you can tell, we both have a sense of humor.(We got hitched on April Fool's Day)! His wife had passed 10 years earlier, and I just didn't make it with my then current husband. I think this is the one....too old to change again anyway....HeeHee. I really commend all those that have made it for 40 plus years.....I can't imagine. My first husband passed, the second was not a good match and this third is a keeper......thank God!!!!!

Congratulations QNS, Jeanie, and Wendiq-each anniversary is such a milestone. Yes, mines a keeper, too. He's such an enabler. I'm going to the Cleveland Quilting & Sewing Expo tomorrow (a major FART) and his first questions were "do you have enough money?" and "are you coming home tomorrow night or staying over for more shopping?".
BTW, this is a huge show with tons of vendors. Is anyone having trouble finding certain fabrics or notions? I can find just about any manufacturer's name and get info or things for you. Let me know. Leaving at 8am sharp and will be back whenever LOL.

JanRN ... I'm going to echo ArteEC's ... and make a change .. Buy as much as you can and WANT .... nothing about the NEED part! I hope you told your DH that NO, you did not have ENOUGH $$$$$ ... and you would gladly accept more from him!!!
What a wonderful time for you and your friend(s) (I think you're going with others?)!!!!
Do you have a "list" of what you're searching for? .... or just whatever jumps into your arms and says "pick me pick me ... take me home with you"??
Yes, I'm GREEN with envy!!
Kaffee Fassett update ..... anyone interested ..... registration opens tomorrow at 8am. Two different one day workshops. I'd love to have company!!!!
