I use a product called Zout. It gets blood out of clothes, baby formula stains out of baby clothes with out damaging or fading colors. Hydrogen Peroxide can bleach color. You can order Zout from Amazon.

Yep it does and won't bleach out the fabric If the colors are set. Use it on fresh blood before washing, but it will lighten old stains as well. Don't delute. Let it sit a few minutes, then throw it in with the wash and regular detergent.

There are fabric cleaners and wash enhancements that have Hydrogen peroxide in them and they will bleach out the fabrics. I've done this to denim and no change or spotting was ever noted. It is how we nurses kept our white uniforms white!

I use peroxide. It has to be done quick before it dries.

From sewing teacher in the 60's. make a loose ball of cotton thread and chew on it until it is full of saliva. Us as an eraser to blot out blood.you can also spit on a small spot of blood. My uncle did this in his dry cleaners. saliva from the person whose blood is the stain works best but any is better than none. then wash and enjoy.

I've heard that the saliva of the "bleeder" will remove the stain! Yuk! I'm a nurse and sometimes I get other peoples' blood on me and that isn't an option so I have had luck with Stain Stick. I think it's important to get at the stain right away.

Zout...works really well. Be sure to get Zout, not Shout.
