I am glad someone is doing pieced blocks. I just do not have anything that is "summer". not sure what I even wanted so I did do applique and embroidery one. Here are the butterfly and the hummingbird. i showed the watermelon and the sunflower. These hummingbirds will have a deep blue around them to make them 12.5 to size. 6.5 was just not going to do it so sized them to 8 and added to make 12".

quilter momma, these are just beautiful. I also love pieced blocks mixed in. It gives a nice mix to all the blocks and makes such a special quilt.

Whew, I am not the last one. I started to close the package and realized I needed to label each block before I send them off so guess what I am doing and they will go in mail tomorrow with the kitchen kaper blocks.
